Sr. Project Manager & Strategic Business Engagement Specialist at Y Media Labs LLC

Consistently managing between 3 to 5 projects, from Start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Managing design and development teams through discovery (including user journey mapping, user research, ethnographic research, and design sprints), design and development using an agile methodology, testing, and launch, and finally, post-launch metrics and strategy. In the last year, I have taken on a more General Management role handling many aspects of operations in addition to my project management responsibilities.

  • Managed efforts with Home Depot to reimagine their mobile web and mobile apps in order to boost their omnichannel experience. We started by researching the users and categorizing their in and out of store experiences, building a hypothesis. From here we designed several prototypes for user testing. After processing the data we made adjustments for further testing. The end result was a fully redesigned iOS and Android app, earning a best-in-class award by Forrester, best omnichannel experience award by E-Retailers, and doubling their mobile revenue generated in a year.
  • Managed efforts with Clover Networks to bring to life the Clover Go app. Started with 0 to approximately 2 million monthly transactions it has today. Lead design team and worked closely with Clover product team to ideate, design, and test new features and updates. Managed strategy to redesign the Help, Payment System, and Out of Box Experience.
  • Worked closely with Staple’s product and innovation teams while leading YML design and development teams to redesign their omnichannel experience for web and mobile as well as prototype fully functioning apps used for testing new market verticals. Managed the products through the discovery, testing, design and development efforts.
  • Managed development efforts to bring Bill.com Android and iOS apps to market. Created an ongoing Scrum process and acted as the Scrum master to ensure rapid delivery of new features every two weeks.
  • Manage projects through all phases; discovery, design, development, and delivery with a focus on execution.
  • Administered tools (Jira, Basecamp, 10000 feet, and Invision), manage hourly reports of staff, develop project contracts, act as point person for all client interactions, and lead the team through project requirements.
  • Took on many operational roles which included handling of security systems, keeping test lab equipment updated and inventoried, network management, managing contractors (food delivery, office installations, repairs, etc.), project managed the design and build out of new offices, and being the point of contact for office requirements.

Contracted as a Product Manager to Panotip (Online Help), Xvolve (Social Apps), Rosenblueth Enterprises (Social Apps) and currently with MEV, LLC (Site and App developer).

  • Worked with Pharmaceutical and Real Estate companies which both required a highly detailed process to avoid legal risk and ensure compliance in each product release.
  • Provided wireframe and mockup designs for several web and mobile apps as well as delivered product roadmaps to the founding team to properly prepare them for development.
  • Lead customer validation process which created significant data points used in steering the direction of the product.
  • Restructured development process from Waterfall to Agile increasing the speed and communication of each development cycle as well as restructured each project within Jira to use a Scrum workflow.

Managed the full lifecycle of products, improving customer satisfaction ratings by 60% and delivered 4,500 product updates.

  • Gathered product requirements through speaking with customers, bug ticketing system and town hall meetings to then prioritize each story into the weekly development sprints.
  • Executed a complete redesign of the UI/UX and Backend technology in 10 months that resulted in compatibility across all major browsers and mobile devices, increasing our value proposition and satisfaction ratings.
  • Implemented a product versioning plan which greatly reduced development release errors while allowing the creation of highly targeted marketing and support materials.
  • Directed the expansion of the REsearch product to Minnesota Twin-City area, and created a successful roadmap for expansion into the rental market.
